The following is a conversion chart to allow you to more easily use Six Strand Sweets in your stitching.  These are ONLY suggestions and in no way a guarantee that they will be a perfect match.  Six Strand Sweets are *NOT* a replacement for other threads, merely another option.  Your best option is to make a conversion for the chart that you are working on and then place the threads on the fabric that you intend to use.  Swap the threads until you get a pleasing overall look.  Feel free to use our Conversion Worksheet to keep track of your conversion changes.

Please note that if you want to give a variegated look through the use of DMC or other commercially dyed threads, stitch the suggested colors in 5 to 15 "X's" at a time and then switch to the next colors.  If our numbers have an "&" between them then try the variegated technique.  If the number is alone or has the word "or" it means that either number(s) can be used.
